If some part of the disc between two bones comes out and causes pressure on the nerve coming down from the skull or spinal cord through the bones of the spine, it causes pain in the nerve root and the wandering part of the nerve coming out from there.

In common parlance, this kind of pain is called vertebral bone loss, bone gap, or bone growth.

Actually, in medicine, this complication is called disc prolapse, herniated disc, or spinal stenosis. Complications of disc prolapse or PLID depend on the degree of disc displacement or displacement.
