* Cold bread: A piece of cold bread can also reduce eye inflammation, itching and other problems. Chill a piece of bread in the fridge. Then keep it on the closed eyes for a while. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.

 

* Potato: The astringent content of potato helps in quick relief of itchy eyes. Moreover, potatoes also help in reducing eye swelling and redness. Clean, wash and thinly slice a potato and keep it in the refrigerator. Then keep the cold piece on closed eyelids for 15-20 minutes.

* Honey and Milk: Honey is the best remedy for many minor physical problems. It becomes more effective when mixed with lukewarm milk. Apply equal amount of honey and milk on two cotton pads and keep it on closed eyelids for 10 minutes. It will reduce the problem of itching and burning.
