Dr. Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.)  Md. Kabir Ahmed Khan has more than 32 years of experience working in local and international healthcare facilities. After completing his medical graduation in 1986, he started his medical career in the Bangladesh Army Medical Corps. Initially, he began his career as a medical administrator and public health specialist. However, after a series of national and international military deployments, he entered the family medicine residency because its overall health system fits the community, family, and patient-oriented perspectives. During the course of his career, he was involved in commanding hospitals, looking after patients as a family medicine consultant, instructors in medical institutions, post-grade medical examiners in the national and international arena, organizing numerous research activities, and attending many seminars, workshops, and field medical camps.

One of bcps’s first generation residency trained fellows in family medicine,  he has a long-standing interest in making an effective contribution to strengthening primary care in the country. Tazreen Mallik RD, is a specialist clinical dietitian who works with adults, adults, children and children with special needs. He     has been working for the past  6  years in all major patient care fields including cardiology, nephrology, oncology, gastroenterology, neurology,  general medicine, and respiratory. She has worked extensively as part of the acute medical care team as well as outpatients for preventive and long-term treatment.

She has studied,  trained and worked at multiple NHS Trust hospitals in the UK and was in charge of the general and critical wards as chief clinical dietitian. She works independently or with patients referred by doctors to take care of long-term preventive, ongoing, or wellness. He is a member of the BDA, the Association of Professionally Qualified Dietitians in the UNITED Kingdom.

Mrs. Nasima has more than  27   years of experience in personal, marital, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy. Throughout his career, he has facilitated various trainings and workshops and has been working with  UNDP, BRAC, Family Health International, East-West University, Jahangirnagar University, National Curriculum and Textbook Board, UNICEF, etc.
